COLSA Corporation Cyber Technical Instructor/Writer in Ft. Eisenhower, Georgia

The Army established the Cyber School under the CCoE to train the new Cyber Branch/Career Field 17, which includes courses for MOS 17A, 170A, and 17C. The Cyber Branch primarily provides trained personnel to Army Cyber Command’s Cyber Mission Force (CMF) teams. The position will provide instructional support to the Cyber Basic and Common Technical Core.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

• Provide a range of technical and consultative services to assist the customer in effectiveness and efficiency of operations, resources and programs.*

• Develop cyber training requirements and documents, task planning, project schedules and budgets, and prepare white papers on positions and/or concepts. *

• Develop and deliver technical briefings and instruction.*

• Develop and analyze training materials and evaluate the overall performance of training programs within department and/or division.

• Plans, schedules and coordinates special activities as needed*

May serve as a liaison with other departments and/or customers on assigned programs.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

  • High School (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • Former military officer, warrant officer or NCO, training instructor or other related role in direct support of military operation

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance; US Citizenship required

  • 5 years related expereince and Technical Instructor certification or designation (e.g. CTT+, teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, or adjunct faculty certification)

OR the following

  • 5 years related experience with (2) years of experience teaching technical content in a formal classroom setting. Experience is defined as experience in teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military institution, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s); supervising or administering a training program; development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training result

  • Possess DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (Any IAT Level 2 certification or higher)

  • Be a graduate from one of the following Army's 17 series MOS/AOC producing courses OR associated Professional Military Education (PME) course: 17C AIT, 17A BOLC, or 170A WOBC, or 170D Cyber Capabilities Developer Technician WOBC or 17D Cyber Capabilities Development Officer BOLC OR 25D OR 255S or equivalent sister service courses

OR the following:

  • 5 years related experience with (3) years operational experience at the tactical level or higher on a Cyber Mission Team in Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) OR on a Cyber Protection Team in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO)
