Aircraft Cyber Test Manager
Our aircraft research team is searching for new members to help us conduct cybersecurity testing of aircraft and weapons systems. As an Aircraft Cyber Test Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the process and resources required to find cyber vulnerabilities in DoD weapons systems. You will support integrated test team activities to help establish test objectives to meet system program office and operational test customer requirements. In coordination with organizational leadership and with the support of technical editors, you will author test plans to accomplish established objectives. You will work with our aircraft penetration testers to establish detailed test procedures and ensure they are documented on test execution guidance cards. Finally, you will play a key role in test execution and ensure that results are thoroughly documented. Work environment is in a newly renovated facility at Edwards AFB, CA overlooking the runway.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate test program objectives with various DoD and federal agency customers.
Coordinate test resources to ensure program objectives are met.
Provide input to test plans that document program objectives, methods, and required resources.
Support development of detailed test procedures with subject matter expert support.
Coordinate administrative and logistical details required to ensure successful test execution.
Support test execution.
Provide input to test reports that clearly document test findings.
Support development of detailed program cost and schedule estimates. Proactively manage budget and schedule to meet customer goals.

One of the following combinations is required: Master’s Degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 10 years of technical experience -OR- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 18 years of technical experience –OR- HS Diploma or Equivalent and 22 years of technical experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret – (Single Scope Background Investigation). US Citizenship required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Military aircraft operations, maintenance, test or acquisition experience is highly desired.
Prior experience as a developmental flight test engineer or operational test engineer is highly desired.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. An ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion. An ability to translate highly technical discussions into executable plans highly desired.
Prior experience as a DoD test or acquisitions program manager is highly desired.
Deep understanding of aircraft avionics, data links, and associated systems is highly desired.
Experience with cybersecurity test methods is highly desired.
